Call it chance. Call it fate. Call it serendipity, if you so please. I will call it what I know Trey and Rebecca would call it - the sovereign plan of a loving God. They met during their freshman year of college. Trey was playing wingman for his friend who had taken an interest in Rebecca's friend, so they ended up spending quite a bit of time together. Trey's friend did not end up with the girl that he was pursuing, but Trey managed to capture Rebecca's heart and they've been together every since.
These two were married in 2009, and I was honored to document their Serenbe engagement session and King and Prince wedding. They love to travel and have invested much of their adult lives exploring Europe and Central America, but their hearts continue to lead them back to Miami. Trey proposed to Rebecca at the Vizcaya Gardens, so that's where we headed to celebrate their fifth anniversary.
This weekend was so refreshing for me. I immersed myself in the word of God as I watched the sunrise on the beach. I pushed the limits of my coordination abilities by trying my hand at stand up paddle boarding. I talked and laughed and made memories with these two warm and wonderful people, and my soul breathed a sigh of contentment. Trey and Rebecca thank you from the bottom of my heart for inviting me to be part of your anniversary celebration. I could not ask for better clients or friends, and I look forward to celebrating 10 years with you!
