There is a saying that I use frequently with my wedding clients that completely fits with this session. "Blessed are the flexible, for they won't be bent out of shape." Ha! When Aaron, Joan, and I arrived at Turnipseed Nursery for their engagement session, I knew we were running short on time. There was a storm cell rolling in, and the sky was really dark. I had just begun to say, "Maybe the rain will hold off," when the skies opened up and it began to POUR! We waited for about twenty minutes for it to pass, but it didn't let up, so we were forced to reschedule. Aaron had to go out of town shortly after the session, so we rescheduled for the following morning at 7:30am. Let me tell you something - sometimes the things we see as inconveniences are blessings in disguise. When we arrived back at Turnipseed the next morning, there was a light fog resting on the pond, and the soft early morning light was shining through it. It was absolutely beautiful! And it provided an unbelievable backdrop for Aaron and Joan's engagement photos. I love these so much more because we had to be patient and wait for them. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
