Clint is not the kind of person who enjoys being the center of attention. He is quiet and steady, and he is not comfortable being featured in the spotlight. When Clint and Cindy's wedding ceremony began at St. Brigid, Clint shifted uncomfortably back and forth on his feet as each member of the bridal party made their way down the aisle. But then the church doors opened to reveal his radiant, beautiful bride, and it was as if a perfect peace settled over him. He seemed to completely forget about that he was standing in front of more than a hundred people. The only person in the room who mattered at all was the graceful woman in white who was walking down the aisle to become his wife. Everything - and everyone - else faded to the background as these two exchanged vows to have and to hold each other for a lifetime. It was a beautiful day, and I am so thankful that I was able to be a part of it!
It's no secret that I love my wedding clients. I feel so blessed to work with wonderfully loving, joyful couples at every wedding I shoot, but I have to confess that David and Elise have a special place in my heart. These two are some of the most warm, friendly, open hearted people I've ever met, and I wish that all of you reading this could have the chance to know them. I have known Elise for a long time (we are sorority sisters), but after documenting their proposal in Piedmont Park with their families and traveling together to photograph their engagement session at the Wolf Mountain winery, I feel like I can truly call them my friends. I know that they are building their marriage on a firm foundation, and I am excited to see what adventures and blessings God has in store for them in the future!
For the final frame, I give you a ridiculous shot of Ryan, Taylor (another LWP bride) and I. It was so fun to catch up with this wonderful family that I love so much!!
