On the other side { Atlanta, GA }

I did something yesterday that I haven't done in ages. I had my picture taken! You might find this hard to believe, but I haven't had a portrait session since I was a senior in high school, and even then all I had taken was my cap & gown picture. The primary reason for this is that I have been too busy or distracted by other things to make time for it. Since my next wedding isn't until March (Hello vacation time!) and I am not yet swamped trying to study for my classes, I decided it was time to see what it's like on the other side of the camera. I didn't have to think twice about who I wanted to photograph me. I have admired the work of Dan and Anne Almasy for a little over a year, so my choice was obvious. In addition to loving their style, I've really wanted to meet them, so yesterday I headed to their studio loft for my little adventure. Anne and I really hit it off, and we spent more time laughing, talking and sipping hot chocolate than we did actually taking pictures. Here are my favorites from the session:

This is what happens when you ask me to make a serious face. I might be able to manage for a few seconds, but then I start laughing. I think my face is just programmed to smile!
