This is one of those wedding days that will forever live in my memory. A few years ago, when I was just starting out in photography and I was attempting to refine my style, I asked a young girl to model for me. She was beautiful and expressive, and she had a vibrant personality that shined through every single photograph. That young lady was Emily, and the images that I captured of her that day became the cornerstone for my new direction in wedding photography. From the moment she stepped in front of my camera, I hoped that I would one day be able to be her wedding photographer. Little did I know then that God had a greater plan, and that He would bring Emily into my life again when my associate photographer Megan was working to define her wedding style. I couldn't have asked for a sweeter, more beautiful couple to be Megan's first clients, and I could not be more proud to introduce you to the work of the newest member of the Lauren Wright Weddings team: Megan, my associate photographer. I hope that you enjoy her images as much as I do!
Megan began the day by photographing Emily putting the finishing touches on her wedding attire.
Emily, dear, you are drop. Dead. GORGEOUS! Just sayin'!
After a week filled with gray skies and thunderstorms, Emily was blessed with a perfect, sunny, warm, breezy day to begin the rest of her life with her beloved. It was a perfect day.
Before I share these portraits, I have to take moment to say again how incredibly proud I am of Megan. Seriously, I could not have asked for a sweeter young woman to have on my team, and her portrait work is just amazing. I'm so excited to introduce her work to all of you!
Hellooooooooo Emily! :)
You all know I have a hard time picking favorites, but these may be my favorite favorites! :)
This wedding was very much a DIY affair, and Emily incorporated some seriously cute touches to personalize her reception.
These personalized beer bottles were just too cool!
Once the party got started, they headed outside to grab a few shots with the sunset. These are so romantic, elegant and beautiful.
