Nash Farm Engagement : Jamey & Ali
Ali stepped out of the car with a broad smile and her arms extended for a hug. "Good morning!" she chimed. She was as excited as I was. Jamey, on the other hand, was not quite so energized. When I wished him a good morning, he responded with, "Yeah, it's early." Ha! I understand. During the sweltering heat of Georgia summers, I encourage my clients to do their engagement sessions as close to sunrise as possible so that we can take advantage of the beautiful morning light and cool temperatures. When you factor in the time it takes to get ready and drive to the location, it translates to a very early, very rude alarm clock awakening. But it's completely worth it when you get to work with beautiful, soft, golden light like this.
Fortunately, Jamey seemed to forget how tired he was as soon as he took Ali into his arms. Look at that smile!
Ali and Jamey, thank you so much for inviting me to be part of such a special time in your lives. I cannot wait for your wedding in September!
