Married! Kathy & Chris : Metropolitan Club, Alpharetta GA

I don't really think it's possible for me to overstate how much I enjoyed this wedding. Kathy is a dear friend and sorority sister from college, and she and Chris had been engaged for over two years before she even really started planning her wedding! Needless to say, everyone present was elated that they finally tied the knot! Kathy and Chris handled most of the decor themselves (with the help of highly dedicated family and a wonderful group of bridesmaids!) , and I loved the way it reflected their tastes and personalities. Kathy's favorite color is orange, so OF COURSE she would wear vibrant orange shoes on her wedding day!

Chris gave Kathy a few pieces of jewelry to wear on her wedding day. Didn't he do a great job? By the way, these photos were taken by my new friend Megan, who is by far my new favorite second shooter!

It was dark and icy by the time Kathy and Chris were ready to see each other, but that didn't detract from their joy (or their posing skills!)

Love, love, LOVE these!

I love the challenge of shooting at night. It helps me see the world around me a little differently.

Since Kathy and Chris got married at the end of the Snowpocalypse (or Snowmagedon, if you will. Ha!) I had to take some pictures of them in the snow!

This is one of the fun parts of having a second shooter: having a second pair of eyes capturing your portraits. The shot on the left is mine, and the one on the right is Megan's.

After braving the cold and the ice, we snuck back inside to thaw.

Kathy looks so overjoyed as she walks down the aisle!

Portrait of Chris: Looking as stoic as ever. Haha.

I couldn't decide which of the next two I liked better, so I'm sharing both. I knew you wouldn't mind!

Kathy told me that Chris handled the assembly of the centerpieces for the reception, and I was really impressed! They were beautiful!

:) These just make me happy.

Kathy and Chris opted for a chocolate fountain instead of a cake, so the venue baked some "C ♥ K" cookies for them to share as their "cake cutting." What a cute idea!

The photo on the right might be my favorite from the night :)

Yes! Yes! I got a photo of Chris not just smiling, but LAUGHING! I love it :)

Chris and Kathy, your wedding was such a blast! I had so much fun, and I can't thank you enough for inviting me to be a part of it. I love you guys!
