Glendalough Manor Wedding
Their story began with a simple observation. Kevin was walking through the lobby of Penn State Law when he saw a young blonde woman wearing a Georgia Tech sweatshirt. He walked up to her and said, "I worked in Roswell with a handful of Georgia Tech students. I didn't like any of them." Luckily for Kevin, Noelle has a good sense of humor, and his sarcastic comment was the beginning of a friendship. They spent a significant amount of time hanging out with the same group of friends, but it wasn't until the end of their first semester that they finally went on their first date. A mutual friend of theirs continually prodded and harassed them, insisting that they were perfect for each other, and on the last night of their first semester of classes they attended two parties together. It didn't take long after that for them to realize what their friend already knew - they were perfectly suited for each other.
Kevin and Noelle's romantic Glendalough Manor wedding brought so much joy to my color loving, bookworm heart! Her floral arrangements were overflowing with vibrant blooms, and her reception decor was inspired by her love of reading. The guest's table assignments were alphabetized and written on library cards, the tables were named after her favorite couples from both classic and modern literature (my favorites were Darcy and Elizabeth and Peeta and Katniss!), and the floral arrangements were stacked on top of old library books. The theme was even applied to their signature cocktails. Who wouldn't want to sip on a delicious Tequila Mockingbird?
Their decor pieces were enchanting, but the warmth and joy radiated by the couple, their families, and their friends was truly the central focus of their wedding day. Some of my favorite photos from the day are the photograph of Noelle and her mom as she's getting dressed, the look on Kevin's face when he sees his bride for the first time, and the hilarious facial expression that the flower girl made as she walked down the aisle. I hope that you enjoy viewing these photographs as much as I did capturing them, and if you would like to view more photographs from Kevin & Noelle's wedding, make sure to watch the slideshow at the bottom of the post!
