Lee and Katie's classic Southern wedding at Flint Hill was perfectly elegant, and I love the way that they elevated the gospel and put Christ at the center of all that they did. They did not want to see each other before the ceremony, so instead of doing a first look they stood around the corner from each other, read their letters to each other, and then grasped hands and prayed together. It was a precious and sacred moment, and I'm thankful that I was able to capture it for them. Generations from now, Lee and Katie's family will know that they loved God and sought to serve, celebrate, and honor Him in their marriage from the day that it began.
I love the way that Katie worked classic Southern charm into all of her details. I love her warm toned, textured bridal bouquet, her delicate lace gown, and her cathedral length veil. The groom and groomsmen look dapper in their grey suits, the bridesmaids practically floated down the aisle in their light blue off-the-shoulder gowns, and the flower girl looked adorable in her sweet flower crown.
Lee and Katie chose to schedule their ceremony shortly before sunset, so we had to move quickly to create a diverse mix of photographs in a short timeframe. I love the images that we created together, and I hope that you enjoy these photos as much as I do!
