2014 Wedding Photography Giveaway - Meet the Finalists & Vote!

*** VOTING FOR THE 2014 GIVEAWAY HAS ENDED. The winning couple will be announced on 1/23/14 at 5Pm *** The following couples are the finalists in my 2014 Wedding Photography Giveaway! For more information about the giveaway and to review the guidelines, revisit my original post here.

Before I introduce you to the finalists, I have to say that all of you made it SO CHALLENGING to choose just 3 entries! The following question was posed to all entrants: What are you most looking forward to about BEING married? I chose the question that I did because I wanted to make sure that I had the opportunity to work with a couple that is planning for a marriage and not JUST for a wedding. Let me tell you, everyone's responses were AMAZING! Truly, each of your stories touched my heart, and I feel extremely blessed and honored by everyone's participation.

Narrowing down my favorite responses was an extremely difficult task, so I enlisted the help of a selection committee to make the final decisions. After much deliberation, we decided that 3 finalists would not be enough, so I chose 4 instead. Now the decision is up to you! Voting opens now and will continue until Midnight on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. You can vote using the polling widget at the bottom of this blog post. You can vote once every day (voting permission resets after 24 hours) so make sure to encourage your friends and family to return every day to vote for you!

Without further ado, it's time to meet our wonderful finalists!

Noah & Samantha

Call me old fashion, but there's nothing that excites me more than taking his last name.  Let me back up, after a few struggles/heart aches, I drew myself into a never ending relationship with Christ.  On August 5, 2011, I was introduced to the last man that I would call boyfriend.  With each conversation, my man checklist (all women have them!) was slowly dwindling down.  Relationship with Christ? Check.  Chivalry? Check.  Passionate? Check.  Great hands? Check - I know the last is a bit out there.  The point is God knew of my crazy checklist, and as silly as it was, He sent my idea of a perfect man to me so I am honored to be called Mrs. Burnett.  To grow our family and eventually break down to buy a mini-van; to have a bug killer and garbage removal service at my disposal; to have arguments and then make up; to go through life’s changes together because mid-life crisis will be here before you know it; to constantly be reminded that I am beautiful when wrinkles and gray hairs find me; most importantly, to say I belong to him and he belongs to me because that was God’s plan.

Aaron & Joan

Aaron and I have been dating for four years. He is my first boyfriend, my first kiss, and my first love. I will never forget how magical it felt the first time we kissed and up to this day, I still feel that same magic every time he kisses me. I'm looking forward to being married to the only person who makes me believe in magic, love, and romance. I look forward to kissing him and having that same unexplainable feeling for the rest of my life. I’m excited to start a family with the person I love the most, the man of my dreams, the man who stood by me when nobody else was. Destiny or some kind of carefully planned leap of faith brought us together from thousands of miles away and the day he asked me to be his wife, I knew he is the one I have been praying for every night.  I can’t wait to spend every moments with Aaron and I look forward to randomly waking up at night with him kissing me. It may sound silly but I look forward to hearing him call me his wife.

Jacob & Jennifer

I'm beyond excited to be marrying my best friend. I'm extremely fortunate to have found someone who shares my beliefs, enjoys many of the same things, and is a total goof like me. My fiancé Jake joined the Army National Guard this past summer and went through Basic Training in the fall. The time we spent apart was extremely hard on both of us, but it brought us even closer. He is now training to become an Officer at Fort Benning. The little time we've been able to spend with each other since he graduated from boot camp has been so wonderful. I'm most looking forward to the time I will be able to spend with Jake once we are married. He's my best friend and I feel more like myself when I'm with him. I know he may have to be away sometimes for the National Guard, but seeing him come home will make the time apart more than worth it. I'm also excited to be there for Jake. He encourages me so much in my studies and helps take away much of the stress that comes with school. I love being able to return the encouragement to him.

Congratulations to all of our finalists! Use the poll below to vote for the couple that you want to receive the free wedding photography collection. You can vote once per day, so don't forget to come back tomorrow to support your favorites!
