David & Jennifer : McDonough, GA

Winter is such an exciting and invigorating time for me. The world outside grows cold and quiet, and the madness of wedding season seems like a distant memory. As I wait for the return of warm, sunny days and lush green leaves, I take time to reflect. To plan. To refine. To focus. I take time to decide what my brand, style, and client experience will look like for the coming year, and I make time to shoot 100% for me. If I could sum up my style in a collection of images, these would be it. Natural. Romantic. Joyful. Timeless. And overflowing with love.

I am so thankful to Amanda of Amazing by Amanda for providing the bouquet and boutonniere for this shoot. Her style is organic and elegant, and it was a perfect fit for the outdoor “garden” theme that I had in mind.

I am also HUGELY thankful to David and Jennifer, one of my amazing couples from 2012, for being willing to brave the cold temperatures and bracing wind so that I could bring this vision to life. Thank you, thank you, thank you! You know I love you guys!

Married! Zach & Lauren : Capital City Club, Atlanta GA

Lauren didn’t believe me when I told her that I’ve never had a bridezilla as a client. She laughed and said, “You’re just being professional. You have to say that.” I just smiled, because what I said is absolutely true. My clients are incredible couples who understand one thing above all else: being married is more important than getting married. This is one of the many reasons why I enjoy serving them so much! And Zach and Lauren were no exception. They were completely relaxed and at ease all day. While they were excited to celebrate their marriage with friends and family, they recognized that their wedding day was not the beginning of their love story. They’ve been building a life together since they met, and their wedding was just another part of a commitment they’d already made to encourage, challenge, and love each other. So they laughed, danced, and partied the night away without a care, knowing that the next day of their married lives would be just as important as the first.

Married! Brad & Heather : Densmore Farm Wedding

Words cannot express how much I loved being a part of this wedding. I loved getting to see the Hilterbrandt family again and I loved meeting Brad’s wonderful family for the first time. I had so much fun watching Jasmine float around in her fluffy white dress that looked just like her mommy’s, so excited that she and her daddy and Heather were going to become a forever family. As Brad and Heather vowed to love and serve one another surrounded by the beautiful property of the The Densmore Farm, I knew that I was photographing something truly special. You guys are incredible. Thank you so much for inviting me to be part of your day.
