From the moment I met Jennifer, I was amazed by how much we have in common. We both studied Spanish in college, we both wanted to be interpreters, and we both ended up not only being photographers but teachers as well. How cool is that? I knew that we would be a great fit for each other, and when I met David yesterday it confirmed my belief. These two are so fun, friendly, and relaxed that not even a random thunderstorm (that was NOT in the forecast) could dampen their spirits. They waited out the storm patiently and then snuggled and laughed together even when the rain started back up again. I can’t wait for their wedding in September!

While photographing these two together, I found myself saying over and over again, “You two look so natural together!” Melanie’s response was, “I hope so. We’ve got plenty of experience taking pictures together!” I’ve known these two since I was in high school, and they’ve been dating almost as long as I’ve know them. They are an adorable pair who love to joke, laugh and serve the Lord together. Melanie was all smiles from the moment the session started. “I laugh when I’m nervous!” she declared. I smiled and thought, And this is why you’re my perfect client. I love to photograph joy, and these two are amazingly joyful together. I’m so excited to be spending their wedding with them in June!
