Oh how I LOVE wedding season! I’ve been busy shooting all week, and it feels so good to be out of the house, meeting new people and refining my craft. I met up with Delia and Richard at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens for their engagement session, and I have to say these two were so much fun to photograph. Delia has a vibrant, beautiful smile and I love her taste in fashion. Hot pink dress and strappy black wedge heels? Yes please!
I love the way Spring awakens in Georgia. The fruit trees explode with color, and everywhere you look bare branches are being overtaken by beautiful collections of petals. It’s breathtaking. This is the part of Spring that Connie & Brett wanted to capture in their engagement photos. Welseyan College is covered in cherry blossoms, and we had a great time wandering through them, stopping to snap photos here and there, and laughing as I shoot branches and showered them with petals. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
This session was so much fun for me! Rachel is one of my Alpha Gam sisters, and even though she and Pete moved to D.C. after graduation, they chose to have their wedding in Atlanta and invited me to be a part of it. I’m always excited when I get to reconnect with old friends, especially friends as sweet and beautiful as this girl! She and Pete are so cute together. They love to laugh, which made capturing their love a fun and refreshing experience. I cannot wait for their wedding in June!
