Engaged! Donald & Dominique : McDonough Square

These two are so nice I decided to post them twice! Haha. I know, I’d make a horrible poet.:)Luckily, I’m much better at photographing cute couples than I am at rhyming about it. Donald and Dominique’s Summerour engagement session was shorter than we had originally planned because they got stuck in traffic, so we decided to split their session into two parts. For the second half of their session, they met me down in my hometown of McDonough to take some photos around the square.

The light was unreal! So beautiful.

These two are unbelievably photogenic! They made my job a dream.

They pull off model poses quite well.

Since we were in the neighborhood, we decided to stop by the Hazlehurst House for some photos around their beautiful grounds. I love these!

Engaged! Donald & Dominique : Summerour

This session was so much fun to photograph! Not only did we meet up at one of my favorite Atlanta wedding venues, but Donald actually gave this session to Dominique as a birthday gift, so it was a sweet surprise. We connected around sunset, and the light was warm, soft and beautiful. It was crazy hot outside, but it didn’t matter much because Donald and Dominique brought some heat of their own!

The patio area of Summerour is absolutely stunning. It combines all of my favorite things – brick, bright green leaves and beautiful warm woods – and provides the perfect backdrop for my fabulous couples.

Hello gorgeous! If you’re wondering why Dominique looks completely flawless, it’s because she’s a professional stylist. She’s obviously a natural beauty, but it never ceases to amaze me what a professional make up artist can do to bring out your best features.

I could shoot here all day long. It’s such a beautiful location!

I might be in love with this door. I would love to have something like this in my home. I don’t know where I’d put it, but you know it would be super cool!

Shut the front door! I LOVE the color and texture of this wall. Who knew rust could look so good? And it doesn’t hurt that Donald and Dominique are so attractive.

I love these lions. I definitely wanted to take one home!

Engaged! JT & Karen : Berry College

Every time I attend an Alpha Gamma Delta event, walk into my sorority house or connect with a new sister, I can’t help but be overwhelmed with gratitude that I belong to such a wonderful group of women, and I’m amazed when I think about how much my life has been impacted by my sisters. When I stepped into the AGD house for the first time, I remember feeling an immediate connection to the sisters there, and I knew that I belonged. My sisters are vibrant, beautiful, accomplished, fun and wonderful women, and I will readily tell anyone that I would not be where I am today without their encouragement and support. They have been my biggest supporters, cheerleaders and my most enthusiastic clients from day one of my photography journey, and I will forever be thankful for the guidance, encouragement and friendship that I receive and share with my sisters.

Karen is an Alpha Gam alumna, so when she first contacted me about photographing her wedding, I could not have been more excited. She and her fiance JT are such a sweet couple, and they are really fun to photograph because Karen never stops laughing (just like me)! I am so excited to photograph their wedding in August!
