Engaged! Kyle & Kim : Atlanta, GA

Get ready to say, “Hello again!” to a young lady whose beautiful face has graced this journal quite a few times this summer. Kim is one of my sorority sisters, and she was a bridesmaid in both Rebecca and Christine’s weddings. Her handsome man Kyle recently proposed, and now it’s her turn to walk down the aisle! I could not be more excited for her. Unfortunately, I was already booked for her wedding date, but that didn’t keep me from giving them some snuggly portraits to celebrate their engagement. Enjoy!

Engaged! Troster & Ashleigh : Serenbe

It could be because I’m getting older. It could be because I’m getting married soon. It could be because it’s the first time in five years that I haven’t had to think about exams while eating turkey. Whatever the reason, though, I find myself more spirited and more thankful this Thanksgiving than I have been in a long time. I’m overwhelmed by the love I receive from my family, my friends and my wonderful fiance. My heart swells knowing that I have incredible clients who appreciate my style and invite me to be part of such an important time in their lives. I am so thankful to have what I consider to be one of the best jobs in the world, and it’s clients like Ashleigh who make me feel this way. When we first got together to chat about her wedding plans, we ended up hanging out and having lunch. We talked and laughed like old friends, and I knew that I would have an amazing time celebrating with her and Troster, the love of her life.

Guys, I had so much fun hanging out with you and photographing you. Happy Thanksgiving:)

I love that Ashleigh has to stand up out of her shoes on her tip toes to kiss Troster. He’s so tall!

Engaged! Trey & Rebecca : Palmetto, GA

Confession time: These might be some of my favorite engagement photos. No, really. I know I’m not supposed to have favorites, but I can’t help it. I love these:)Rebecca is one of my sorority sisters. I lived with her for a year when I was in college, and she was Christine’s maid of honor. She is one of the sweetest, most joyful people I’ve ever met, and she and Trey are so cute together. Every smile shared between them is genuine. Every kiss is a foot-popping kiss. They love to laugh and dance together. Long story short: they were a dream to photograph. I hope you enjoy their photos as much as I do!

Rebecca brought along her white dress specifically so that she could wear these bright red shoes. She’s a girl after my own heart! She told me all about her super cute wedding shoes, and I can’t wait to see them in September.

More favorites:)This house was absolutely beautiful. It looked empty, so we took the opportunity to shoot on the front porch.

When I first talked to Rebecca and Trey about where they wanted to do their engagement session, they mentioned that they were outdoorsy people, so I knew immediately that Serenbe would be the perfect location. Don’t you think so?

I don’t get to see sunsets this color very often, so I’m always really excited when I get to see one in Georgia.
