RESCUE!

One of my friends and faithful blog stalkers informed me today that it has been too long since I’ve posted on my blog, so I decided to share my weekend adventure with you guys. After shooting an incredible wedding with my friend Matt Yung on Saturday, I began to head home when I realized that I NEEDED to get gas. When I say NEEDED, I don’t mean I had a spastic inclination to run to the gas station and top off my nearly full tank like most everyone else in Atlanta is doing every day. I mean I NEEDED gas or I wasn’t going to make it home, so I pulled off of I-285 to look for a station. I drove for a few miles before I found a line for gas. I got in line, put my car in park and turned it off to conserve what little gas I had left. 45 minutes later, the line hadn’t moved an inch, so I decided to hunt elsewhere. I was hopeful when I saw a sign for a Kroger gas station, so I pulled off of the main road to find it. When I reached it, I found out that both this station and my car were out of gas. There I was, stranded in the Kroger parking lot. So what did I do? What else would I do? I called for help, grabbed something to eat, then pulled out my camera and started taking pictures :) I hope this amuses you as much as it (now) amuses me!

Lauren- Sweet Magnolia AWWW!!! I totally know the feeling. I went home to my parents house the week before Ike, totally not thinking anything about the gas situation, and then got stranded for almost 2 weeks, and THEN paid 4.99 per gallon to get home! :( BUT, I made it. Cute post! Glad you're home safe. So when do we get to shoot a wedding together? :D

Michelle :( So sorry to hear you ran out of gas! But at least it wasn't the side of the road some where! I was almost with you this past weekend when I had an event. I drove for an hour looking for gas before giving up and going to my event. But I was lucky enough to have my husband come and take my car to get gas while I worked the event.

Lisette Price How adorable are you?! Way to make a fun blog post and look on the bright side of a not so fun situation!

Cheyenne Schultz The pics of your bored in your car CRACK me up! :)

Scarlett Lillian LOLOLOL That was hilarious!

Danielle That's what just nails it for me, even in a time to go nuts, you have fun! I love the pictures of yourself in the car being all silly!
