I don’t even know where to start. I absolutely love these two! Christine is one of my sorority sisters, and I met her on Day 2 of recruitment my freshman year. She was so full of joy and excitement that we connected immediately, and she was one of the people who greatly influenced my decision to become an Alpha Gam. I was beyond excited when she called to tell me that she and Kevin were engaged, and I went to her apartment to meet with them two days later. I couldn’t help but laugh, because I was asking them questions about what they were looking for and what they wanted their wedding to be like, and all Kevin said was, “All we really know is that it would be great for you to be our photographer!” How awesome is that?
I could go on forever about how amazing these two are, but then you’d never get to see their pictures!
We decided to do their engagement session on the Georgia Tech campus because Kevin and Christine have so many memories here. We explored some of their favorite places, then went to eat at one of my favorite places- Doc Greens! Yum!
The next shot is definitely my favorite. I love the colors and the line of the bridge going over them, but what I love the most is how relaxed they look. It’s one of those moments when they’re just content to be near each other.
This shot makes me want to snuggle!
Next we headed to the top level of the student center parking deck so that we could utilize the last tiny bit of natural light left as the sun fell over the horizon. We also ended up with a great view of the Atlanta skyline, which was also really cool.
Kevin wanted to grab some shots by the campanile, and by this point we had almost no light to work with. That’s when I grabbed my trusty flash and pocket wizards and began to play! It’s so much fun for me when I run into an unexpected challenge and get to stretch my skills a bit. I love the way these photos turned out!

Wow, Lauren… these shots are breathtaking! I love the skyline pictures and the one where her ring is the focus. They are all beautiful. I’m definitely keeping you in mind for when my day comes!
Of course they are all great but the last one in Grayscale is ASTINKINMAZING! Thats one of those pictures that you can buy at IKEA for a beautiful wall:-)!
