RESCUE!

One of my friends and faithful blog stalkers informed me today that it has been too long since I’ve posted on my blog, so I decided to share my weekend adventure with you guys. After shooting an incredible wedding with my friend Matt Yung on Saturday, I began to head home when I realized that I NEEDED to get gas. When I say NEEDED, I don’t mean I had a spastic inclination to run to the gas station and top off my nearly full tank like most everyone else in Atlanta is doing every day. I mean I NEEDED gas or I wasn’t going to make it home, so I pulled off of I-285 to look for a station. I drove for a few miles before I found a line for gas. I got in line, put my car in park and turned it off to conserve what little gas I had left. 45 minutes later, the line hadn’t moved an inch, so I decided to hunt elsewhere. I was hopeful when I saw a sign for a Kroger gas station, so I pulled off of the main road to find it. When I reached it, I found out that both this station and my car were out of gas. There I was, stranded in the Kroger parking lot. So what did I do? What else would I do? I called for help, grabbed something to eat, then pulled out my camera and started taking pictures:)I hope this amuses you as much as it (now) amuses me!

New “About Me” Gallery

Hey there, blog readers! This morning I finished a project that has been in the works for a while, and I’m so excited to finally have it incorporated as part of my web presence. I have always had a hard time fitting my personality into a few paragraphs, so I decided to quit agonizing over a few words and instead provide my potential clients and web surfers a gallery of images that will tell you more about who I really am. You can click on the link below to be taken directly to my new “About Me” page on my website. I would love hear whatever feedback you have for me!:)

TJ & Libby { Atlanta, GA }

I love to be around people who are in love. It’s why I enjoy my job so much! And these two are most certainly in love. It didn’t take them long to settle into the session and feel comfortable snuggling, laughing and just being together.

Blog readers, meet Chloe. We aren’t really sure what breed of dog she is, but she has the look of a pit bull and the sugary sweetness of a golden retriever. Just in case you hadn’t noticed by now, I am head over heels in love with dogs, and I thoroughly enjoy any opportunity I get to play with them! Even though she was a bit hyper, she was able to be a good model for a few pictures.

This next photo is proof that I can make people laugh! I was actually trying to get Chloe’s attention, and saying her name over and over again wasn’t working, so I barked at her. Libby immediately started cracking up, and I was able to snap this. I love it!

When Caryn and I were scoping out spots to shoot in, I happened to look up and see a few sets of stairs on the roof of the Baskin Robbins. I thought to myself, “Self, let’s go investigate!” So we wandered upstairs and lo and behold, you can get all the way on the very top of the building! It isn’t an incredibly tall building, but it was tall enough to make me happy:)

Aren’t these two totally stylin’? I love their clothes! Libby assured me that TJ is the stylish one in the relationship, and they were so excited to be able to go shopping to pick out complimentary outfits for the shoot. Whoever did pick out these outfits did a great job, because they look super snazzy!

Where there are bright colors, I will stop and photograph:)You know I can’t resist!

At this point, the sun had pretty much set, so we quickly ran back up to the rooftop we discovered earlier to utilize the last little bit of light that we could. I am so glad we did, too, because the clouds and the sky were so blue!

I love the tattoo Libby has across her wrist: “Yahweh Yireh,” which translates to “Lord Provider”.

Oodles of thanks go to Caryn, my Alpha Gam sister and friend, who volunteered to be the dog walker, bag carrier and living light stand for the evening. I love you, babe! You’re amazing!
