The Lauren Wright Archives

It’s amazing what you can find when you start cleaning. This morning I was visualizing what I want my closet to look like when it’s clean (because I hadn’t actually started cleaning yet. Haha!) when a box full of photos caught my eye. I had to chuckle at myself a little bit, because I have a million personal photos from the years before I became a photographer, and I’ve taken a grand total of about 5 since then. I really need to start taking more photos for myself. Anyway, those old photos sit in my closet, split between two boxes, waiting to be opened on some morning that I need an excuse not to clean. This was one of those mornings. I enjoyed looking through them so much, I decided to scan a few and share them with you. So ladies and gentlemen I present for your viewing enjoyment: a selection from the Lauren Wright Archives!

One of my distinguishing characteristics is that I have a huge smile. When I met Adrian Despres last week, he smiled and said, “Wow, you smile with ALL of your teeth!” I really can’t help myself: the joy in my heart is written all over my face, and apparently it always has been. Check out this one!

Last but most certainly not least, here is a photo of me with my best friend of 15 years: my golden retriever named Whiskey. She was as much a part of my family as my parents and brother, because my parents bought her when I was a baby and I don’t have a single memory from growing up that doesn’t include her.

I have made it a point to avoid commenting here so as to avoid any pretense of favouritism. However, in this case, the wonderful memories of the pair of you are just too powerful to ignore. What a pair.

Love you girl.

So, I have seen that last picture so many times in the history of our being friends, and Whiskey was definitely my favorite part of visiting your house! And eating your dad’s ice cream, of course.
