I love my clients. I really do. I feel so blessed every time someone entrusts the preservation of their memories to me, and I am always excited to take the opportunity to build new friendships and challenge myself creatively. Last weekend, though, I got a special treat. Dave and Lisa, two of my parents’ best friends, celebrated their wedding, and I got to be there to capture their love story as it unfolded. It was an amazing weekend filled with joy, laughter and tears, and I am so excited to share this amazing wedding with all of you!

I was in the process of sorting through Dave & Lisa’s wedding images (which I will be sharing with you later this week!), and I came across this picture that Cheyenne grabbed of me while I was doing the bride and groom’s portraits together. I love seeing these shots, because it’s not often that I get to see myself working.

Hello readers! I am in Flat Rock, NC at the Kenmure Country Club relaxing with my family before Dave & Lisa’s wedding, and I was able to convince my mom to be in a picture with me. I don’t have many pictures of her because she doesn’t like to have her picture taken, but I think she’s just being silly. She’s gorgeous! We took several shots, but the last one is my favorite because my mom looks so happy! Don’t we look so cute together?
