Celebrate your freedom { Happy Easter! }

She’s so cute isn’t she? My niece decided she’d rather dig into an easter cupcake than eat a real lunch. Silly kids:)I just wanted to stop by and wish everyone a Happy Easter! Today is the day we celebrate Christ’s victory over sin and death, so take a moment to thank God for the freedom that you’ve been granted! Through Him we have the freedom to live abundant, joy-filled lives, so celebrate your joy today!

When I think of Vegas, two things come to mind: casinos and chapels! This could be because in addition to being well known for its gambling, Las Vegas ranks #2 in the world in the number of weddings that occur there each year. So of course, I couldn’t leave Vegas without being able to photograph a couple of newlyweds! I was walking around the Bellagio fountain with my new friend Melissa McClure, and we came across a few of her friends who were busy snapping away at this super cute couple! Like many couples who get married in Vegas, Kevin and Christine just got tired of all the planning and indecision about a location for their event and decided to exchange their vows in Sin City!

Kevin and Christine, it was so good to be able to meet you, and I wish you the best of luck in your marriage and your adventures together!

Wow! What an AMAZING week! I can’t believe that WPPI has come and gone and I’m about to hop on my flight back to Atlanta. Being here has been an incredible adventure, and I’ve come away with some great images and some even greater new friendships.

It wasn’t until last night that I realized that I had been in Vegas three days and I had never left Bally’s, except to hop in a taxi on my way to a party or something. Luckily, Scarlett provided a wonderful opportunity for me to get out and explore Vegas a bit. Ross (from Flosites) and his wife wanted to get some fun, high fashion shots around the city at night, and Scarlett invited our third roomie Cheyenne and I to shoot with her. It was an amazing evening, and it really challenged me and stretched me. I hope that you enjoy these images, and I look forward to sharing more later this week!
