Hugo & Julia { Destin, Fl }

I nearly fell to the floor in amazement. “14 years? The two of you have been together for 14 years?” Julia laughed and explained that she and her soon-to-be husband were high school sweethearts, and that they had indeed been dating on and off since they were in freshmen in high school. Now in their late twenties, this pair of Alabama natives traveled to Destin, Florida for a beautiful wedding on the beach. The bridal party consisted of family and life long friends who had known Julia and Hugo since the beginning of their relationship. They had watched the two of them grow and develop, and now this couple that had literally spent half of their lives together were going to join hands and join lives forever.

I got to spend the morning hanging out in Hugo’s sweet beachfront suite with him and his groomsmen. They spent a good part of the morning relaxed on the couch listening to Hugo’s dad crack jokes before we headed down to the beach for some fun bridal party portraits. After that we drove over to the beach club where we gathered around for a sunset ceremony and a rockin’ reception around the pool.
